SIMPLE BY DESIGN

A sloped entrance means no pit. Self-supporting rails mean no support wall. You can place it in a corner, by the stairs, or in an open room.

It needs a footprint of about 38 by 47 inches. The floor cut-out is 46¾ by 37¾ inches. It does not need a support wall.
The standard cab needs 82¾ inches on the lower floor and 94½ inches on the upper floor. Savaria’s FAQ says the short cab needs about 79 and 91 inches.
No. Safety code limits through-floor lifts to two stops. For three or more floors, you need a home elevator.
Sensors detect the person, pet, or object and stop the lift. It will not keep moving until the path is clear.
In most cases, no. Original Medicare usually treats a through-floor lift like the Luma as a home change, not medical equipment. Some Medicaid waivers and VA programs may help. Ask us about financing, too.
