The winding drum drive includes an integrated over-speed governor. If cab travel speed exceeds normal parameters, mechanical safety brakes engage automatically and immediately, independent of electrical power.
Standard on every VueLift Mini. In a power failure, the battery descends the cab safely to the nearest floor, maintains interior lighting, and activates the alarm. No passenger is ever stranded between floors.
