A Careful Match
The PVE37 is for couples and families who want to share the ride. It works for people planning to age in place and for anyone who wants an easier trip between floors.
It still fits in a small space. The tube is only 37 inches across, so you won’t lose a whole room to it.
Planning ahead for your parents or yourself? Our guide to home elevators built for seniors covers what to look for. If your space is very tight, the single-rider 30-inch PVE30 is the smaller choice.
Dimensions & Specifications
The PVE37 gives you a roomier cab in a footprint that still fits most homes.

ROOM FOR TWO
The cab is wide enough for two adults. You and your partner can ride together, or a helper can ride with you. Nobody has to wait for a second trip.
Pick a door in line, on the opposite side, or at a 90° angle. The 90° option helps when your rooms don’t line up from floor to floor.
Five small turbine motors sit at the top of the tube. They pull air out to lift the cab. On the way down, controlled airflow and gravity bring you back.
If a hurricane cuts your power, the PVE37 lowers you slowly to the ground floor. Read what happens when the power goes out in a PVE elevator.
The Coastline Process
Four simple stages, from your first question to your first ride together.
Tell us who will use the elevator and how often. Do you use a walker? Do you carry laundry? Your answers help us set up the PVE37 the right way.
We measure each floor, check your power, and find the best spot. Then we give you a written quote with no hidden fees.
You pick the door layout and frame color. We file your Florida permit and book your install date.
Our crew installs your PVE37, often in 2–3 days. We test every floor and show your whole family how to use it.
Your Next Step
Transparent Pricing
We build each PVE37 quote around your home. These items shape the final price.
Your door layout, motor type, and add-ons all affect the price. More stops mean more tube sections. Our guide to pneumatic vacuum elevator cost in Florida walks you through each cost.
We visit your home and give you one written quote. You see the full price, line by line, before you sign anything.
Safety, Comfort & Everyday Use
Mechanical brakes catch the cab within 2 inches if it ever loses air pressure. They need no power to work.
Each landing door has an electromechanical lock. The door stays shut until the cab reaches your floor.
An alarm button in the cab lets you call for help if you ever need it.
Every cab button runs on a 24-volt circuit. That keeps the controls you touch safe and simple.
The cab stops level with each floor. You can step in and out easily, even with a walker.

Yes. PVE says the PVE37 fits full-size walkers, and the entrance is 20.5 inches wide. We check your walker during the home visit to be sure. Wheelchair users should look at the wheelchair-accessible PVE52 instead.
You can choose in-line doors, doors on opposite sides, or a 90° door. If you pick 90°, every upper floor must use the same 90° setup.
The PVE37 switches to a slow, safe descent. It lowers you to the ground floor at a controlled speed. Then you open the door and step out.
Yes, with regular care. PVE elevators use no oil and have fewer moving parts than cable elevators. Plan to replace the main seal about every five years or 15,000 trips. We suggest a check-up every 6 to 12 months.
Most PVE37 installs take 2 to 3 days inside your home. The full timeline is often 3 to 5 weeks, because permit review takes the most time.
Yes. You need a permit from your local building department. We handle it for you from start to finish. Our guide to Florida home elevator permit rules explains each step.
PVE lists a 107-inch minimum on the top floor with the standard motor. A split unit lowers that to 97 inches. Each floor also needs at least 92 inches from floor to floor.
