Often, yes. Savaria made it to fit wraparound stairs. Each floor needs a 49⅝-inch square opening, and the trim ring is about 55⅜ inches. We measure the open center of your stairs to be sure.
The cab measures 44 by 42⅛ inches inside, for 12 square feet of floor space. It carries up to 840 lb.
Both share almost the same size. The acrylic model costs less, carries 840 lb, and moves at 32 feet per minute. The glass model uses low-iron glass, carries 950 lb, and moves at 40 feet per minute.
It is not built for wheelchairs, because the gate opening is 26 inches. Savaria’s wheelchair-ready choice is the Octagonal+ Glass, with a 33-inch door.
It serves up to six stops. It can travel 50 feet, or 55 feet with a code variance.
Black framing is standard. Savaria also offers silver, white, and gray, plus custom RAL colors for an extra cost.
